Making a header for crown

Todays project is to make a header at the beginning of a hallway.  In doing so, Ill be able to install crown molding in just the living room, and not down the hallway, saving on cost of crown and labor.

Here are a few pictures.  Ive built a basic 2x4 frame, and covered both sides with drywall.  The important part is to get the drywall flush with the adjacent wall next to the coat closet.  This way, the crown will run neatly past.  Ive also installed a built up 2x4 on the wall, which will give a paint break, as well as allow for trimming out of the opening...
